Welcome to the FAMSA Training Centre (FAMtrac).
FAMtrac offers specialist counselling training for professional and lay counsellors who want to improve their counselling skills in specific areas. FAMSA is well respected in the counselling field and strives to offer trainings of a high quality. FAMtrac has been offering various courses for more than 10 years.
We are also proud to offer a wide range of Continual Professional Development (CPD) trainings to registered professionals. We are continually striving to expand our CPD accredited trainings.
For those who would like to learn more about counselling skills, FAMtrac’s Basic Counselling Skills training is an experiential introduction into counselling. Our two Basic Counselling Skills trainings are also prerequisites for those who do not have experience in the field of counselling, but wish to attend our specialised trainings or workshops.

Online Courses
Our courses are now online. The same experiential courses you have come to know and love are now available online. We offer online courses that are facilitated live by professionals.
Classroom Courses
We offer interactive, face-to-face courses at request for groups of eight or more. Contact us for more information.

Our Basic Counselling Skills courses are often attended by individuals working within communities, NPO's and religious organisations as lay counsellors under supervision of a professional.

Kindly note in order become a registered mental health professional you would need to complete a formal degree, practical and board exam with the relevant council.
